Children's Martial Arts Program
At Combined Martial Science, our professional, energetic instructors create an enjoyable atmosphere that makes learning fun and exciting. Our children’s martial arts program helps children develop improved strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and endurance. In fact, our classes provide an excellent way to burn off extra energy, or to increase the energy level and vitality of the less active child.
Our well rounded program at Combined Martial Science helps children to:

Children’s classes are taught in a non-aggressive manner, and a large portion of our program is devoted to mental discipline. Children will be expected to learn all of the following Combined Martial Science goals:

Our exciting children’s classes include instruction in a wide variety of martial arts disciplines, including Jujitsu, Judo and Muay Thai kickboxing.
Jujitsu: Jujitsu is a dynamic self-defense system that teaches one of the most effective martial arts in the world. Children will learn Brazilian, Japanese and Russian ground-fighting techniques, including all of the latest striking, submissions and finishes seen in UFC or pro fighting (arm-bars, chokes, throws, leg locks, take-downs, and stand-up self-defense moves). One of the things that makes our program so effective is that we spar during every class! That means children will get plenty of opportunities to practice what they learn.
Judo: An Olympic sport, Judo is its own unique style of martial arts and is a very effective method of self-defense. The basic philosophy of Judo is to use your opponent’s size and strength against them. In Judo, children will learn to use over 65 throws, numerous pinning techniques, and hundreds of arm bars and choking techniques. Judo teaches self-defense, character development, competitive skills and humility. And at Combined Martial Science, we are a national Olympic-sanctioned school, so we even compete on a national level!
Muay Thai Kickboxing: Our Muay Thai Kickboxing program is a great workout, whether you’ve never kicked before, or you are a seasoned martial artist. Children will learn a variety of stand-up techniques, including the disciplines of Muay Thai, kickboxing, boxing and Karate. By using our easy-to-learn techniques, children will start to see improvements in their flexibility, strength and endurance just weeks after joining. Muay Thai Kickboxing is known worldwide as one of the most effective stand-up forms of self-defense. During the course of training, children will learn punches, kicks, elbows and knees, all of which come together to create an awesome form of self-defense!
